Massie is an alternative rock band based out of Washington D.C. The three-piece power pop sound has inspirations from the late 90s and early 2000s, with a unique sound that makes them stand out as an energetic and talented band. Lead singer and guitarist Emily Yaremchuk sings alongside her best friend, Samantha Collings, who doesn't miss a beat on the drums while doing so. Truly inspiring! Will Salzmann adds groovy energy on stage while playing the bass and truly completing the rock trio.
Massie was nominated for the Wammie Music Awards and made finalists for not one, but two categories - Best Rock Album for their recent release "Grady Says Serotonin" and Best Rock Artist-Group. After watching them live for the first time at their EP Release Party at The Blackcat in Washington D.C., I truly believe they have the talent, energy, and uniqueness to make music for generations to enjoy.
